My name is Joey Castro, and my husband, Romie Castro, was in a serious motorcycle accident on February 21, 2026.   

To make matters worse, I lost my job this past Monday.

Everything has hit our family at once.   Romie is a disabled combat Veteran and one of the most selfless people I know. He works as a railcar operator at John Graves Propane in Flagstaff, and he takes great pride in providing for our family and friends. He is always someone people can count on. Because of his injuries, he will be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks.   

Beyond his job, Romie is deeply involved in a local motorcycle club that volunteers to raise money for the homeless and animal shelters to support our community and help challenge the image society has of bikers. He is always the first to step up when someone else is in need. Now, he’s the one who needs help.   

We are humbly asking for help. With both of us unexpectedly out of work, we are facing serious financial strain as Romie focuses on healing.
