Hey everyone, this is Harry Lashbrook, and I’m reaching out because the last 3 weeks have been some of the hardest I’ve ever faced. On October 29, 2025, everything changed when I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while riding my 2007 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic—my pride and joy that I had just recently had repainted. It meant a lot to me, and unfortunately, the bike was completely written off in the crash.

I was on my way to work at Travelers Oasis Travel Plaza, where I’ve proudly worked for over five years as the Assistant Maintenance Manager, handling groundskeeping, janitorial work, and general maintenance. I really love what I do, and I want to say how grateful I am for how supportive they’ve been through all of this.

The accident happened around 11:40 a.m. when another vehicle collided with me. I don’t believe the crash was my fault. The impact threw me about 30 feet, and I landed hard on my back. An ambulance took me to St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho, where CT scans and X-rays showed no broken bones, but severe body bruising and trauma—especially to my left leg, ribs, and back. The pain was overwhelming, to the point where I could barely move.

I was released home to recover, but by Sunday, November 2, the pain became unbearable. I returned to the hospital, where doctors scheduled an MRI for that Wednesday. I’m still waiting on results, but they’re concerned about a more serious back injury.

Living alone has made everything harder—getting in and out of bed, showering, standing, even moving around the house. My two boys live in Colorado and Washington, and they both have families and responsibilities of their own, so day-to-day help just isn’t possible.

Right now, I’m unable to work, and the bills are stacking up quickly. I’m hoping this fundraiser can help cover my basic living expenses while I recover and figure out the next steps in my treatment. I miss fishing, bowling, and just being active, and I’m hoping and praying I can get back to that life again.

If you’re able to donate or share my story, it would mean more than I can express, its not easy asking for help. Thank you all for taking the time to read this

Hey everyone, it’s Harry. I just wanted to give a quick update and say how grateful I am for the help so far. $500 has been raised, and that support really does mean a lot to me while I’m trying to get back on my feet.

If you’ve been thinking about donating, I would truly appreciate anything you’re able to give — even something like $50 or $150 would make a real difference for me right now as I’m working through recovery and the bills that come with it.

And if donating isn’t something you can do, sharing my story would help me just as much. Getting the word out really matters.

Thanks again to everyone who’s taken the time to read, share, or donate. It really does help.

    ~ Harry
