Hi everyone, my name is Bryan Martinez, and my good friend Aeric McAuley was in a horrible motorcycle accident.

On Monday, February 23, 2026, Aeric picked up his 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob at 5:00 PM. He was excited and proud — ready to enjoy the ride. Within 20 minutes, everything changed. While riding through Bedford, Texas, Aeric had the green light when a vehicle suddenly turned left directly in front of him. With no time to avoid it, he collided with the car.

The impact caused catastrophic damage to his right leg, including a loss of 3–9 centimeters of bone. He was hospitalized for four days and endured a seven-hour surgery the very next day. Doctors have told him he may still require a bone graft, and his recovery will take time — 8 to 9 months before he can return to work, and up to a full year to completely heal.

Aeric is a hardworking car wash service technician who truly loves what he does and the people he works with. He’s also an active member of DFW Chill Riders and Sector NTX, two motorcycle groups where he is known for always stepping up to help others.

Now, he needs us to step up for him.
