Let's Help Chris After His Serious Motorcycle Accident in Texas

Law Tigers

Law Tigers and Zac Finders are campaign organizers for Christopher Palmer.

My name is Zac Finders, and my Brother Chris Palmer was in a serious accident two weeks ago in Fort Worth, Texas.

On February 22, 2026, at approximately 12:40 PM, Chris was riding his motorcycle when a truck driver made an improper right turn from the middle lane, crossing in front him. The driver was inattentive and struck Chris, causing a devastating crash. His 2004 Harley Davidson Springer Softail was completely wrecked.

Chris was rushed to the hospital, where he spent four days admitted — two days in the trauma ward and two days recovering post-operation. He suffered a crushed left leg and has already undergone multiple surgeries. Doctors have made it clear that this will be a long road to recovery. They are estimating at least eight months of recovery and rehabilitation. Right now, Chris is in a wheelchair and using a walker as he begins the difficult journey of healing.

Chris is a Senior Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projects. At the time f the accident, he was in the Dallas/Fort Worth area supervising a hotel build. His career requires him to travel and live wherever the construction projects take him. With home being in Boise, Idaho, Chris takes tremendous pride in his work and the teams he leads across the country.

Chris is married to Christina, and his wife is currently in South Africa studying in a 12-month field guiding program. He and his wife are incredibly adventurous — in fact, they spent 2023 traveling the world together. Their life has been built on hard work, exploration, and supporting one another’s dreams. Now, with her overseas and Chris recovering alone in Texas, this time is especially difficult.

Chris is currently in Dallas recuperating. Being far from home, away from his wife, and unable to work has created tremendous emotional and financial strain.

Beyond his professional life, Chris is deeply committed to his community. He is a proud member of B.A.C.A. — Bikers Against Child Abuse — an organization dedicated to creating a safer environment for abused children and empowering them to not be afraid in the world in which they live. B.A.C.A. members stand united to provide emotional support and physical presence for abused children, working alongside local and state officials to ensure kids never feel alone or afraid. Chris has always been someone willing to stand up for others.

He is also a renowned guitar player and has been active in the Boise music community for the past 20 years. He played in the bands The Fallen Idols and Stone Prophet, sharing his talent and passion for music with countless friends and fans over the years.

Now Chris needs our support.

With at least eight months of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of him, he is unable to work and facing mounting living expenses during this extended healing process. This fundraiser is to help cover his living costs while he focuses fully on recovery and regaining his strength.

Chris has spent his life building, protecting, creating, and supporting others. Let’s rally around our brother now and help him get back on his feet.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to give, please share and keep Chris in your thoughts and prayers as he begins this long road to recovery.

Zac ❤️🙏

    My dear friends and family,

It's now been nearly a month since the accident and the calls, messages, cards and comments continue to come in. The support is amazing and has been instrumental in my healing and spirits! Again, it's difficult to thank you all enough. My heart is definitely full.

    I thought I'd update yall on my journey so far;

Since I'm unable to travel home for a while, I have decided to end my lease and my amazing BACA family is taking care of all the logistics for me to move my things into storage for now. This will reduce a big burden for me.

Since I'm unable to physically work, and our project here in Dallas is winding down, my company has asked I also move out of the company provided apt here. Once again, my amazing TX BACA family showed up in force and will assist with moving me out of the apt next week. A BACA brother and sister have kindly offered to have me stay with them for the duration of my recovery. I am forever grateful for this family!

Recovery is incredibly slow; however, I am making small gains each day. At least I can now finally take a shower, albeit can be a rather challenging process in this small apt shower, but nonetheless feels like progress.

I'm finally sleeping more than 2 uninterrupted hours a night which is also progress.

I'm hopeful I will be in a position to start PT in the next 6 weeks after the next round of follow up appts with the surgical teams. Pain is still a constant; however, each day becomes incrementally better.

I can't begin to thank each of you enough for your love, kindness, generosity, selflessness, words and support. Each of you have played a role in my healing process. You are all heroes to me!

    Much Love and Respect,

    Chris Palmer (Shredder, MJ, CP)IYKYK

    Hello again Everyone!

Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to first of all say THANK YOU to everyone that has reached out, sent me messages, called, shared the story and contributed. To be honest, I never anticipated this kind of response from all of you.

My heart is filled with love and gratitude for everything that has come my way. You are all incredible humans and I am honored to be part of this incredible community!

So far, the healing is slow and painful; however, making forward progress. There is still a long road ahead of me and no doubt will have challenges along the way, but knowing I have an army of support behind me definitely helps the determination I have to heal and ride again so I can continue to carry out the BACA Mission I have dedicated myself to support.

There are still logistics to work through with no longer being able to work, drive or travel during my recovery as well as having to vacate my home; however, all the support you all have provided will ease some of this burden.

Thank you all again for the tremendous love and support,

    Much love and respect,

    Chris Palmer

    Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out and supported me.

Being here in Texas away from home has been challenging to say the least, but seeing the generosity, messages, offers of support and encouragement from so many people has truly lifted my spirits. Your kindness has meant more to me than I can put into words and I am beyond humbled by the love that has been given by all. It has made me very happy to know there's an army surrounding me letting me know I'm not alone.

Every donation, message, and share has made a real difference, and I’m deeply grateful for each of you.

Thank you ALL for your support.

    Chris
