My name is Will Rivera, and I never thought I would find myself in a position where I needed to ask for help.

A few days ago, I was on my way to work when my life changed in an instant. I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left me with painful injuries and unable to work for the next several weeks.

I suffered a broken rib, severe road rash, a dislocated thumb, and a hairline fracture to my tailbone. Doctors have told me it could take six to eight weeks for my injuries to heal before I can safely return to work.

I work hard as a plumber and proudly belong to Union 469 in Phoenix. Providing for my family has always been my priority. I have an amazing fiancé and a son that I love more than anything, and being unable to work has been incredibly difficult for all of us.

Starting this campaign is not easy for me. I have always been the type of person who handles things on my own, and I honestly have a hard time asking family and friends for money. But right now, I do not have many options.

As the breadwinner of my family, the loss of income along with mounting medical bills and everyday living expenses has created a tremendous amount of stress during an already painful recovery.
