Hi Everyone, my name is Nick Ageyev, and I am writing this story for my wife, Whitney.

One of the worst phone calls a husband can ever receive came when a bystander called to tell me that Whitney had been involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

I rushed to the scene, and nothing could have prepared me for what I saw. Seeing my wife lying on the ground before she was taken away by ambulance is something I will never forget.

We are incredibly thankful that the accident was not even worse. We know how differently that day could have ended, and we are grateful that Whitney is still with us.

Whitney was on her way home when another vehicle pulled out in front of her motorcycle, causing a devastating collision. She spent four days in the hospital and, to date, has already undergone three surgeries. As I write this, she is preparing for another surgery on her hands this Friday.

Her injuries include multiple broken fingers, a broken thumb, a broken toe, a severe laceration to her left knee, and significant injuries that have required multiple surgeries, with rehabilitation still ahead. Her recovery will be long, especially considering the physical demands of her job.

Whitney has worked at Louws Truss Inc. building trusses, and she truly loves her job, the people she works with, and the friendships she has built there.

We have been married for a little over a year, and every day together has been an adventure. Whitney is loving, hardworking, adventurous, and always willing to give her best to the people she cares about. We also have a very spoiled fur baby who has been wondering when Mom is coming home.

With Whitney unable to work for the foreseeable future, the financial burden of medical bills and everyday living expenses is beginning to grow while she focuses on healing.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses during her long recovery.
