I can't believe I'm writing this story.

On August 3, 2026, I was riding my motorcycle when I was involved in a serious accident. In a matter of seconds, everything changed.

I was taken to the hospital and spent two days in the trauma unit before I was finally able to return home.

Through everything that has happened, I keep thanking God because I know this accident could have been so much worse. I'm grateful to be alive and grateful that I still get to come home to my family.

I suffered a broken right femur, a fractured tibia just below my right knee, and road rash to my right arm and head. I underwent surgery on my right leg, where doctors placed a rod, plate, and screws to repair the damage.

Right now, I cannot put any weight on my right leg, and doctors have told me that could continue for several months. I need both a walker and wheelchair to get around, and I've been told it could take six to eight months before I fully recover.

It's difficult knowing how long the road ahead is going to be, especially because I've always been someone who works hard and takes pride in providing for my family.

I work as a Truck Pusher and Driver at Cornell Construction. I genuinely love my job and the people I work alongside. Being unable to do the work I'm accustomed to doing is going to be one of the hardest parts of this recovery.

But the most important part of my life isn't my work. It's my family.

The loves of my life are my wife and our five boys. They are everything to me, and they give me the motivation to keep pushing forward through the pain and the difficult months ahead.

Motorcycles and the riding community are also an important part of my life. I'm a member of A.B.A.T.E., Northwest 69 Chapter in Woodward, Oklahoma. A.B.A.T.E. brings motorcyclists together around fellowship, motorcycle awareness, education, and issues important to the riding community. Being part of that brotherhood and community means a great deal to me.

Faith is also an important part of our family's life. We are members of Watonga First Assembly of God, and we're leaning heavily on our faith as we navigate everything ahead of us.

Asking for help isn't easy, but right now my family and I are facing months of recovery and uncertainty while the bills continue to come.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while I focus on healing, rehabilitation, and eventually getting back to the job and life I love.
