Hi everyone, my name is Jessica, and I am writing this story for my husband, Shaun.

This has been an incredibly difficult year for our family. Because of my chronic illness and the multiple traumatic brain injuries I sustained in previous accidents, I have been unable to work, so Shaun has carried the majority of our family's financial responsibilities. Then, just a couple of weeks ago, our lives were turned upside down when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

On June 18, 2026, Shaun was riding his motorcycle to work when another driver suddenly turned in front of him. Shaun tried everything he could to avoid the collision, but despite braking, he struck the vehicle. The driver initially fled the scene, only returning after realizing his bumper and license plate had been left behind. To make matters even more difficult, it appears the driver may not have insurance.

Shaun suffered road rash, extensive bruising, a broken toe, and a fracture to his left hip socket. While we are incredibly grateful that his injuries were not even worse, he is currently using crutches to get around and faces a painful road to recovery, along with upcoming medical expenses.

Anyone who knows Shaun knows he is an incredible husband, father, and provider. We have been married for almost six wonderful years, and together we are blessed with four amazing children who mean everything to us.

I jokingly call Shaun my "Geek Hulk." He's a true computer geek who enjoys building computers and coding, yet he's also the strong one around the house, always lifting, fixing, and helping with whatever needs to be done.

Shaun works as a Tech 1 Warehouse Technician at Molson Coors, and he genuinely loves his job and the people he works with. We can't say enough about how supportive Molson Coors has been since the accident. They have been an incredible company to work for during this difficult time.

Outside of work, Shaun is always striving to better himself and provide for our family. After working two jobs while earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity Engineering from Colorado Technical University, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA on December 22, 2025. He was looking forward to walking across the stage at his graduation ceremony on June 27, but because of this accident, he had to miss that once-in-a-lifetime milestone. As the first person in his family to earn a college degree, it was a moment he had worked incredibly hard to achieve.

In addition to his regular job, Shaun serves as a volunteer First Responder at work. This year alone, he has responded to five emergency calls, always putting others before himself. That's who Shaun is—the first person to help someone else and the last person to ask for help.

Today, I'm asking on his behalf.

The funds raised will help with upcoming medical expenses while Shaun focuses on healing and getting back to the family, coworkers, and community he loves.
