On September 23, 2026, I was involved in a serious accident in Crawfordville, Florida that left me dealing with injuries throughout my body and wondering what the weeks ahead are going to look like.

I injured my right knee, leg, foot, ankle, back, and left arm. Doctors believe I have a torn ligament in my right knee, and I have severe bruising in my foot along with pain that makes walking difficult. I have also lost some of the grip strength in my left hand.

I recently underwent MRIs on my knee, ankle, and back, and I am waiting for more answers about the full extent of the damage and what treatment may be ahead.

Before the accident, I was working in construction. That kind of work is physically demanding, and with these injuries, I could no longer do it.

I was fortunate to have another opportunity waiting for me, and I recently started training for a new job as a salesman at Harley Davidson. 

I am a single father to a 15 year old daughter, and she is the biggest part of my life. I also have a dog that means the world to me. Providing for them and keeping our lives moving forward is what motivates me every day.

I have always had a hard time asking anyone for help. I am much more comfortable being the person who steps up for someone else. I would describe myself as the first person to help and the last person to ask for help.

Right now, though, I could use some support.

Between medical care, everyday bills, and the financial strain of changing jobs while recovering, things have been difficult.
