Hi everyone, my name is Maria Vaughn, and I am writing this story for one of my dearest friends, Sarah.

This past Monday, July 13, 2026, Sarah was on her way to my house to give vaccinations to my puppies when her life changed in an instant.

While riding her motorcycle, she was involved in a collision at an intersection after another vehicle failed to come to a complete stop. In an effort to avoid the vehicle, Sarah was seriously injured.

Sarah remains in the hospital and underwent surgery yesterday after several of her toes were partially detached in the accident. She also suffered a severe knee sprain and other painful injuries. We are incredibly thankful that she survived because this accident could have been so much worse, but her road to recovery will be long.

If you've ever met Sarah, you know she is one of the most compassionate, hardworking, and caring people you'll ever meet. She is the first person to step up and help someone else and the very last person to ask for help herself.

Sarah is incredibly hardworking and entrepreneurial. She operates a Day Porter business, a commercial cleaning business, and recently launched a new pet care business. She has poured her heart into building both businesses.

One of the many things Sarah and I share is our love of motorcycles. Together, we've made lifelong friendships through the riding community and are proud members of For Two Wheels, AZ Riders Group, AZ Grom Squad, and the AZ Mini Bike Association. The motorcycle community has always been there for others, and today I'm hoping we can come together for Sarah.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while Sarah focuses on healing and getting back on her feet.
