My name is Rob Wesson, and I’m writing this on behalf of my wife, Heather (Morgan) Wesson.

We’ve been married for 5 years, and she is truly an incredibly strong person. Seeing her go through this has been incredibly difficult.

On March 26th, Morgan was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while stopped at a red light. 

As the light changed and she tried to get moving, a truck behind her rear-ended her, causing devastating injuries.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she spent an entire week fighting to stabilize and recover.

Morgan suffered a concussion, required an emergency splenectomy, had fluid in her abdomen, and sustained multiple spinal fractures from T-4 to T-11, along with ongoing left shoulder pain.

Since the accident, her life has completely changed.

She is dealing with mobility issues and even short-term memory loss, which has made everyday life incredibly challenging.

Morgan is a pharmacy technician, a job she takes pride in, but it requires lifting up to 50 pounds. Due to her injuries, she is currently restricted to lifting only 10 to 20 pounds, and she has not been able to work since the accident — and may not be able to return for some time.

As a result, we are facing medical and living expenses during a very uncertain time.

The photo you see here was taken of Morgan just minutes before the accident — a moment that now feels like a completely different life.

Morgan is strong, and she’s doing everything she can to move forward and heal.

She has always been someone who pushes through and shows up for others, and now she needs support as she works toward recovery.
