I can't believe I'm writing this story.

Last Friday, July 24, 2026, I was on my way to pick up my two boys when my life changed in an instant.

While riding through a roundabout, I was involved in a motorcycle accident that left me with multiple serious injuries. An ambulance transported me to the hospital, where I began receiving medical care. Although I'm incredibly grateful to be alive, I know my road to recovery will be a long one.

I suffered a fracture to my arm, a severe ankle injury that doctors are still evaluating, and road rash on my shoulder, hip, and legs. I also have swelling, bruising, and pain throughout the left side of my body, including my neck, back, and joints. My doctors are recommending surgery on my arm, and I'm continuing to undergo follow-up evaluations to determine the full extent of my injuries.

I am self-employed and own a cleaning company, a business that I have worked incredibly hard to build. I truly love what I do and the wonderful people I have the privilege of serving. Being unable to work has been one of the hardest parts of this journey.

The greatest blessings in my life are my two teenage sons, my 18 year old daughter and my nephew, whom I am helping raise. They are my motivation to stay strong and keep fighting through this difficult season.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm always the first one to help someone else and the last person to ask for help. Today, however, I find myself needing the kindness and support of my community.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.
