Hi everyone, my name is Andre Knowles, and I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

I’m a Marine Corps veteran, and throughout my life I’ve always believed in pushing through challenges, working hard, and taking care of myself and the people around me. But after a devastating motorcycle accident last year, I’ve been facing one of the hardest battles of my life.

On September 7, 2025, I was riding my motorcycle through an intersection when a vehicle suddenly pulled out from a neighborhood side street directly into my path. I had no time to stop, and the collision was unavoidable.

The crash was extremely violent. I lost consciousness at the scene, and the next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital. I remained hospitalized for two weeks while doctors worked to stabilize my injuries and perform emergency procedures.

The accident left me with severe and life-changing injuries. I suffered a serious head injury, a fractured leg that required surgical hardware, and significant damage to my knees that required surgery. I also sustained a severe injury to my right forearm that may still require additional surgery. One of the most difficult injuries to cope with has been the loss of a testicle due to the trauma of the crash, something that has been both physically and emotionally challenging.

The recovery process has been long and painful, and I am still dealing with the effects of these injuries every day.

When the accident first happened, I believed I could handle the financial impact and push through the recovery on my own. I thought that with determination and hard work I would be able to manage everything.

But as time has passed, the reality has been much harder than I expected. Between the ongoing recovery and the lasting impact of my injuries, it has become difficult to keep up with basic living expenses and everyday responsibilities.

I’m now asking for help because I’ve reached a point where I simply can’t do this alone anymore.

The funds raised through this campaign will help me cover essential living expenses and basic needs while I continue healing and working toward rebuilding my life after this accident.
