My name is Nallely Lopez, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my brother, Luis Lopez, after a devastating motorcycle accident on February 8, 2026, that has completely changed his life and shaken our family.

The accident happened around 2 a.m. Luis was riding his motorcycle when another driver struck him on the left side. The driver who hit him did not stop. Luis was knocked unconscious in the crash and does not remember what happened after impact. He woke up in the emergency room with doctors standing beside him.

Luis was hospitalized for five days due to the severity of his injuries.

He suffered a broken clavicle, a punctured lung, six broken ribs, a broken wrist, and significant pain throughout his body. He is also having difficulty walking. Doctors are closely monitoring his clavicle injury and are still determining whether surgery will be necessary. The recovery process will be long and painful, and doctors have told him he will be out of work for at least 2 to 3 months.

Luis is a hardworking construction contractor who takes pride in providing for his family. He supports his household and works tirelessly to make sure his loved ones are cared for. Being unable to work during this time is incredibly stressful for him.

More than anything, Luis is a loving father to his two beautiful children — an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old — who mean the world to him. He loves his kids deeply and is very involved in their lives. Providing for them and being present for them has always been his greatest priority.

Luis is also part of a motorcycle group called SB Freaks, a brotherhood that shares his passion for riding and community. The support from friends and fellow riders has meant so much during this difficult time.

Right now, Luis is facing overwhelming medical challenges along with the financial strain of being unable to work. We are asking for help to cover medical and living expenses while he focuses on healing and rebuilding his strength.
