I can't believe I'm writing this story.

On July 4, 2026, I was on my way to a pool tournament when I experienced what appears to have been a mechanical failure that caused me to lose control and crash.

I was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where I spent five days recovering. During that time, I underwent surgery to repair my broken left leg. After leaving the hospital, I was transferred to a rehabilitation center to continue my recovery. I was finally able to return home just two days ago, but my journey is far from over.

Although I'm grateful to be home, the road to recovery will take time, patience, and determination. Every day brings new challenges as I work to regain my strength and independence.

I am retired, so I never expected to find myself facing unexpected medical bills and additional living expenses after an accident like this. The financial burden has become overwhelming at a time when my focus should be on healing.

Asking for help has never been easy for me, but today I find myself in a position where I truly need it.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while I continue my recovery and rehabilitation.
