Hi everyone,

My name is Ariane Suikki, and I am the mother of an incredible woman named Krysantha Chamberlain.

On July 24, 2025, Krysantha’s life changed in an instant when she was run over by a driver in Florida who had been drinking and chose to get behind the wheel.

The impact was so severe that Krysantha had to be airlifted from the scene to the hospital and admitted into TICU

Doctors confirmed that she had suffered a traumatic brain injury along with multiple severe physical injuries. These injuries included extensive damage to both shoulders, torn tendons in both elbows, significant spinal damage including torn and herniated discs with spinal cord involvement, a broken hand, a broken rib, and severe nerve damage throughout her body.

At one point, the trauma to her brain caused partial paralysis on the right side of her body, forcing her to begin the long and difficult process of relearning basic functions such as speaking correctly and walking.

Before this happened, Krysantha was building a meaningful and ambitious life. She was working as an intern investigator with the Public Defender’s Office, where she was committed to truth, and defending the constitutional rights that protect every citizen.

At the same time, she had started her own small business called CryoGo Mobile, a wellness and recovery service she built through determination and hard work.

Krysantha has always been someone who believes deeply in truth, integrity, and standing firmly in defense of constitutional principles.

Then, in a single moment, everything changed.

Because of the injuries she sustained, Krysantha had to close her business and sell equipment she had worked so hard to build in order to manage the immediate medical impact of the accident.

Her recovery has been long and extremely challenging. She continues to live with the lasting effects of a traumatic brain injury and severe physical trauma to her body.

As a result of the brain injury, Krysantha continues to struggle with significant memory issues and cognitive challenges, which have made the recovery process even more difficult.

At this time, Krysantha is unable to live independently and requires the support of a caregiver while she continues her recovery.

She still needs neurological care, rehabilitation therapy, and specialized diagnostic testing to properly evaluate and support her healing. Unfortunately, many of the therapies and testing procedures that could help guide her recovery have not yet been possible because of the financial cost.

The driver responsible for the incident was underinsured, leaving Krysantha facing overwhelming medical and recovery expenses largely on her own. Pursuing legal action to seek accountability would require approximately $20,000 in legal costs, which is currently beyond what she can afford while trying to focus on healing.

Despite everything she has endured, Krysantha continues to face each day with determination as she works to rebuild her health and regain her independence.

This fundraiser is being created to help cover:

• Neurological testing and evaluations

• Rehabilitation and therapy services

• Medical care related to her injuries
