My name is Cindy Venetis, and my dear son Kirby Venetis was involved in a terrible accident on February 6, 2026, that has shaken our entire family.

Kirby was driving to work early in the morning when another driver cut him off, causing a serious crash. He was transported to the emergency room and remained hospitalized for 36 hours. During his hospital stay, doctors discovered hemorrhaging in his back and an artery with a hole that needed to be sealed. He also suffered significant road rash across his body. The severity of his injuries required immediate medical care and close monitoring.

As his mom, I couldn’t be more proud of Kirby. He is the baby of our family and truly the life of the party—always the one bringing laughter, energy, and light wherever he goes. Seeing him hurt has been incredibly difficult for all of us.

At the time of the accident, Kirby worked as a maintenance employee at an apartment complex, a job that requires constant walking and physical activity. While we are grateful that he is starting to walk again, he is still recovering and unable to return to work. His step-sister is currently caring for him as he focuses on healing.

As a result of his injuries and time away from work, Kirby is facing financial strain during his recovery. The funds raised will help support him while he heals and works toward getting back on his feet.
