I'm usually the first person to help someone else and the last person to ask for help, but after my motorcycle accident, my family and I are facing a situation I never expected.

On September 15, 2026, I went to one of my first motorcycle meets. I didn't stay late because I had work the next morning and five children waiting for me at home. While heading home that evening, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

At first, adrenaline took over and I thought I could manage. But once I got home, the pain became overwhelming, and I went to the emergency room, where I spent approximately six to eight hours being evaluated.

I suffered three broken ribs on my left side, severe bruising and pain in my left hip, significant road rash on both arms, and swelling and injuries to my right hand and fingers. Right now, walking is extremely painful. We live in a two-story home, and even getting up the stairs has become a difficult task.

For nearly five years, I've worked as a pool and spa technician with Katy Pool Cleaning, the company my uncle owns. I handle pool repairs and enjoy the work, the people, and the customers I've gotten to know over the years. My hope has always been to eventually take over the business.

But what matters most to me is my family. My fiancée, Jessica May, and I have five children in our household—my three daughters and two nephews we took in when they needed a home. They're the reason I work as hard as I do.

Being injured and unable to function normally has created an immediate financial strain.

That's why I'm starting this HelpVy campaign. Funds raised will help with my medical and everyday living expenses while I recover and work toward getting back to my family and the job I love.
