Hi everyone, my name is Elise McWhorter, and I am Joseph Liechty’s mom.

I’m reaching out today because my son Joseph was involved in a car accident on March 11, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona while driving to work near Silver Bell Road. Another driver traveling in the opposite direction suddenly attempted to make a U-turn directly in front of him, leaving Joseph with no time to avoid the collision.

Joseph was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he remained for about six hours receiving treatment. As a result of the crash, he suffered a broken left big toe, along with cuts and scrapes, bruising to his left knee, right hip, and the back of his left shoulder, and soreness in his ring finger.

Joseph works as a lot attendant at Lifted Trucks in Tucson. He has always been a hardworking and dependable person who takes pride in what he does. He has been married for nine years to the love of his life, and he enjoys riding with his friends whenever he gets the chance.

Unfortunately, the accident has left Joseph without transportation, which makes it very difficult for him to get to work and handle everyday responsibilities. On top of that, he is now facing unexpected medical bills from the accident.

Joseph has always been the kind of person who is willing to help others whenever they need it. Now he finds himself in a position where he truly needs help from others.

We are asking for support to help cover Joseph’s medical expenses and to help him purchase a vehicle so he can get back to work and begin moving forward after this accident.
