Hi everyone,

On November 12, 2025, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident when a vehicle suddenly backed out directly in front of me, leaving me no time to avoid the collision.

As a result, I suffered a severe fracture to my right tibia, a painful and serious injury that continues to affect me every single day.

Since the accident, I have undergone two surgeries and extensive medical treatment. Despite everything, my leg has not fully healed, and recent X-rays confirm that the fracture is still present. I continue to experience pain, limited mobility, and daily physical challenges, and I rely on a brace and cane to get around.

Given the financial pressure this accident has placed on my family, I have been forced to return to work before I am medically recovered. I am doing my best to push through the pain, but I am not back to normal, and every shift is a struggle.

For the past 16 years, I’ve been been a nurse.   For the last four years, I've worked as a nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, caring for others in their most difficult moments. I also spent 12 years as a volunteer firefighter, always stepping up to help those in need.

I never imagined I would be the one facing something like this.

I’ve been married to my wife, Raina, for 27 years, and we have three amazing children. As the primary provider for my family, I don’t have the option to simply stop working—even though my body hasn’t healed.

This accident has created a serious financial and physical burden for us. I am dealing with ongoing medical expenses, the strain of working while injured, and the uncertainty of how long my recovery will take.

I am asking for help so I can focus on healing properly instead of pushing myself beyond what my injury should allow.
