I can't believe I'm writing this story and asking others for help. After what happened to me on August 29, 2026, I realize just how lucky I am to still be here.

I truly believe my Guardian Angel was looking after me that day.

I was riding my motorcycle when a car pulled out onto the road in front of me and stopped. I collided with the vehicle, and in a matter of seconds, everything changed.

My injuries were serious enough that I had to be airlifted to a trauma center.

I suffered a shattered right heel, a broken right hand, road rash, lacerations across my body, and other injuries. I can't put any weight on my right foot. I'm currently using crutches and will also be getting a wheelchair to help me get around.

The motorcycle I was riding meant a lot to me. I had only been able to buy it two months before the accident, and I was so happy and proud to finally have it. Now, it's totaled.

But as difficult as losing my motorcycle is, I know it can be replaced.

My life can't.

Three years ago, I made the decision to turn my life around, and since then, life has been good to me. I've worked hard to build a better future for myself and the people I love. That's part of what makes this accident so difficult. I finally felt like my life was moving in the right direction, and suddenly I'm facing another major challenge.

I work in final assembly at Savannah Industrial Solutions, and I genuinely love my job and the people I work with. That job has become an important part of the life I've built over these past three years. I don't know where I would be today without it.

I'm also incredibly fortunate to have my fiancé, Salena, by my side. She has been there helping me through all of this, and I'm grateful beyond words for everything she is doing for me.

My family means everything to me. I have three amazing children and two grandchildren, and our family is about to grow again with twins on the way. I have so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to.

Right now, however, I have to focus on healing.

With a shattered heel and no ability to put weight on my right foot, I don't know exactly what the months ahead will bring. My road to recovery could be a long one.

I've worked hard over the last three years to build the life I have today, so asking for financial help isn't easy for me. But the medical expenses from a serious accident like this can add up quickly, and that's why I'm reaching out.

The funds raised through this campaign will help with my medical expenses as I recover from my injuries.

Most of all, I'm thankful to be alive. My Guardian Angel was with me that day, and I've been given another opportunity to keep moving forward with the life I've worked so hard to rebuild.
