My name is Jack Moss. On April 7, 2026, I was riding my motorcycle in Albuquerque, New Mexico when an SUV crossed into my lane, hit me, and kept going. No stop. No help. Just gone.

The impact threw me approximately 100 yards from my bike. Someone nearby had a dash cam and caught the whole thing — but in that moment, none of that mattered. I was on the ground, unable to move, waiting for help to arrive.

I was rushed to the hospital where I underwent two surgeries on my right leg. I spent five days in the hospital and I'm now facing a recovery that's going to take everything I've got. I'll be bedridden for the next two weeks. After that, I'll need physical therapy just to learn how to walk again. My right hand can barely lift anything, and my right leg has very limited mobility.

I won't be able to return to work for several months. That's several months of medical bills, rent, food, and everyday expenses with no paycheck coming in.

I'm not someone who asks for help. But I have no choice right now. Every dollar raised goes directly toward my medical expenses and living costs while I focus on getting back on my feet — literally.
