I never imagined I would be writing a story like this.

On the evening of July 17, 2026, I was on my motorcycle heading to meet up with some friends for a ride. It was supposed to be a great night doing something I love.

Instead, my life changed in an instant.

As I approached an intersection, a truck sped in front of me. Traffic ahead had come to a complete stop, and the driver slammed on the brakes without warning. I didn't have enough time to avoid a collision. My motorcycle struck the back of the vehicle, and I was thrown from my bike.

The injuries I suffered were severe. I fractured my skull, suffered a concussion, broke my left arm and wrist, and endured painful road rash over much of my body.

The paramedics told my friends that they didn't think I was going to make it.

By the grace of God, I am still here today, and for that I thank Him every single day.

I spent four days in the hospital, where I underwent surgery to repair my broken left arm and wrist. While I am incredibly grateful to be alive, my recovery is just beginning. Healing from these injuries takes time, and every day brings new physical and emotional challenges.

I am the owner of Emerald Coast Security & Investigation Inc., and because of my injuries I am unable to work. As a business owner, when I can't work, the income stops. The medical bills continue to grow while our everyday living expenses don't stop.

The greatest blessings in my life are my wife and our five children. They have been by my side through every painful moment, encouraging me as I fight to regain my strength. My goal is to recover so I can once again provide for the family I love so much.

I'm asking for help because I truly need it.
