I can't believe I'm writing this story.

I was on my way to meet up with my motorcycle riding group when my life changed in an instant.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where I continue to recover from my injuries. While I'm grateful to be here today, I know I have a long road ahead of me.

I suffered a broken right foot, a broken toe with a deep six-inch laceration, and underwent surgery on my right foot yesterday. My doctors have told me that I will be off work for approximately three months, and as a result, my income will be substantially reduced while I recover.

I work as a Maintenance Worker at Coca-Cola, and I truly love my job and the people I work with. Being away from work is incredibly difficult because I enjoy what I do and take pride in being part of such a great team.

Asking for help has never been easy for me, but today I find myself in a position where I truly need it.

The funds raised will help with everyday living expenses while I recover and focus on healing without the added stress of trying to make ends meet during this difficult time.

Ayudemos a Danilo a Recuperarse Después de su Accidente de Motocicleta

No puedo creer que estoy escribiendo esta historia.

Iba de camino a reunirme con mi grupo de motociclistas cuando mi vida cambió en un instante.

Tuve un accidente de motocicleta y una ambulancia me trasladó al hospital, donde continúo recuperándome de mis lesiones. Aunque estoy muy agradecido de seguir con vida, sé que me espera un largo camino hacia la recuperación.

Sufrí una fractura en el pie derecho, un dedo del pie roto con una profunda laceración de seis pulgadas, y ayer me sometí a una cirugía en el pie derecho. Los médicos me han informado que no podré regresar al trabajo durante aproximadamente tres meses, lo que reducirá considerablemente mis ingresos mientras me recupero.

Trabajo como técnico de mantenimiento en Coca-Cola, y realmente amo mi trabajo, a las personas con las que trabajo y a todos los que atendemos cada día. Me duele mucho no poder estar allí haciendo lo que disfruto.

Pedir ayuda nunca ha sido fácil para mí, pero hoy realmente la necesito.

Los fondos recaudados me ayudarán a cubrir los gastos de manutención diarios mientras me recupero y me concentro en sanar, sin la preocupación adicional de no poder cubrir mis gastos durante este difícil momento.
