My name is Dallas Kempke, and I never imagined I would find myself needing to ask for help like this.

On April 24th, I was on my way to work when I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Cedar Lake Road. A truck pulling a trailer was turning into Wesley Acres and suddenly stopped with the trailer blocking my lane. I was unable to avoid the collision and crashed into the back of the trailer.

As a result of the accident, I suffered a broken right wrist, multiple facial fractures, a broken jaw, and several broken teeth. I was hospitalized for three days and have already undergone two surgeries, including surgery on my wrist and surgery to repair facial fractures. My jaw was also wired shut during recovery.

I have an amazing wife and two beautiful children who mean everything to me. Being the breadwinner of our family, being unable to work has placed a financial strain on all of us during this difficult time.

I work as a tire technician at NTB/Mavis in Decatur, Alabama, and I truly love the people I work with and the customers I get to help every day.

Motorcycles have always been an important part of my life, and before this accident I was looking into joining The Bible Thumpers Motorcycle Ministry, a faith based riding community centered around fellowship, faith, and helping others through rides and community events.

As I continue recovering from these injuries, I am asking for help with medical bills and everyday living expenses while I am off work.
