On October 2, 2026, I was on my way to work early in the early morning when I was involved in a serious accident that changed everything in a matter of seconds.

I suffered a concussion with bleeding in my brain, an injured and badly swollen right shoulder, an injured wrist with a chipped bone, injuries to both knees, and a serious groin injury caused by the force of the impact.

I lost consciousness and did not wake up until I was already in the hospital.

I remained hospitalized for four days while doctors monitored and treated my injuries. The brain injury remains one of the biggest concerns. I am scheduled for additional imaging to evaluate the bleeding, and I have already begun physical therapy at home.

Doctors have told me that because of the brain injury, I should remain out of work for at least four weeks.

Before the accident, I was working as an apprentice airplane mechanic. I love working with aircraft parts, learning the trade, and the people I work alongside. I want nothing more than to heal and eventually get back to the career I enjoy.

The timing has also been heartbreaking for my wife, Daisy, and me.

We were married only about a month and a half before the accident and were supposed to leave for our honeymoon the following week. Instead of celebrating the beginning of our marriage, we had to cancel our trip because I am now focused on recovering and can barely get around normally.

Daisy has been by my side through all of this, and I am incredibly grateful to have her.

Right now, my focus is on allowing my brain and body to heal, getting through my upcoming medical appointments, and regaining my strength and mobility.
