On September 28, 2026, I went out for a ride to enjoy a beautiful day after several days of rain.

I never expected that day to completely change what the weeks ahead would look like for me.

I was involved in a serious accident and spent time in the hospital being evaluated and treated for my injuries.

I suffered a swollen and badly bruised right wrist, an injured left wrist that is extremely painful to bend, painful injuries around my left knee, significant bruising and trauma to my right upper thigh, and limited mobility that makes walking difficult. Moving my wrists too much causes significant pain, and even normal daily activities have become much harder.

Despite everything that happened, I am incredibly grateful that I did not break a single bone. When my mom was worried about me at the hospital, I told her that I truly believe God was looking over me that day.

Unfortunately, the timing of the accident could not have been worse financially.

I was supposed to start a new job as an Amazon delivery driver just two days after the accident. That job requires constant walking, lifting, and moving packages throughout the day. I expected to walk somewhere around 20,000 to 30,000 steps every day.

Right now, with the pain in my legs and wrists and the difficulty I am having walking, starting that job simply is not possible.

I was excited about beginning this new chapter and earning a steady income. Instead, I am now focused on recovering and hoping my injuries heal enough for me to get back on my feet and finally begin working.
