I never imagined I'd be writing a story like this.

On July 17, 2026, I was on my way to work. I was less than a minute away from my job when my life changed in an instant.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident that left me with multiple serious injuries. An ambulance transported me to the hospital, where I began what I know will be a long road to recovery.

I suffered a broken wrist, broken arm, broken thumb, and a fracture in my right leg. This Monday, I am scheduled to undergo surgery on my arm. While I'm thankful to be here, I have a long recovery ahead of me before I can return to work and the life I enjoy.

Just three weeks before my accident, I started a new job as a General Service Technician at Big O Tires. I was excited for this opportunity and looked forward to building my future there. I really like the people I work with and the customers I have the opportunity to serve every day. It's heartbreaking that my time there has been interrupted so soon after getting started.

Like so many people, I depend on being able to work to provide for myself. Being sidelined because of my injuries has created an unexpected financial burden at a time when I should be focused solely on healing.

Asking for help isn't easy, but today I truly need it.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while I recover and work toward getting back on my feet.
