Law Tigers and Sierra Manees are campaign organizers for Brandon Hancock.
Hi, my name is Sierra Manves, and I’m reaching out for help for my boyfriend, Brandon Hancock. On October 19, 2025, Brandon was on his way from my home in Vail, Oregon, heading to his uncle’s house in Ontario when a large semi-truck suddenly came into his lane to avoid a stalled vehicle. Brandon had no choice but to lay down his 2005 Yamaha V-Star Cruiser to avoid a potentially worse crash.
Someone at the scene called for assistance, and after being checked over, Brandon made his way to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Ontario, where he was evaluated and treated. Doctors performed X-rays, CT scans, and other tests after noticing some irregularities with his heart — likely from stress and adrenaline following the accident. The most serious injury was a severely crushed and broken elbow on his left side, which required surgery to repair with a ball and pin. He also lost function in his left wrist, possibly due to tendon damage, and will be undergoing another surgery soon. Afterward, he’ll be in a hard cast for about two months, followed by therapy and recovery.
Brandon has always worked hard — delivering for DoorDash and helping with construction and custom pool projects on the side. Now, he’s unable to work, drive, or use his left arm. I’m a deli manager and doing my best to keep things going, but it’s been difficult to manage everything on my own. Brandon is also a devoted dad to his two boys, Hayden (8) and Noah (10), who stay with us on weekends. He loves spending time with them, but right now, even small things like cooking, playing, or helping with their school projects are a challenge.
We also share our home with our little “zoo” — Chappy, our Border Collie-Aussie mix; Max, our ferret; and Athena, a baby possum Brandon rescued after losing her mother. Life is full and sometimes chaotic, but right now, we just need a little help bridging the gap until Brandon can heal and get back to work. Any donation $25, $100 or maybe someone reading this would really be able to bless Brandon with a large donation to take the burden off of him. It would mean the world to us. I know its hard for Brandon to ask.
Special thanks to Law Tigers for connecting our family with HelpVy.

💛 Update on Brandon 💛
Hey everyone — just wanted to share a quick update on Brandon. He got his stitches out today, which is a small step forward, but the doctor now wants to have his wrist scanned — and it’s looking like he’ll need another surgery soon. It’s been a tough recovery so far, and not being able to use his arm has made everyday things like cooking, driving, or even getting dressed a struggle.
We’ve only raised about $190 so far and grateful, and we’re really hoping this post reaches a few more people who can help. Even $25 or $50 makes a big difference right now. Every bit goes toward keeping up with bills, gas for appointments, and helping Brandon focus on healing instead of worrying about how to stay afloat.
If you can’t donate, a quick share helps just as much — it might reach someone who can. Thank you all for your support, your kindness, and for just taking a moment to care. 💛
