I can't believe I'm writing this story from my hospital bed.

Yesterday, July 29, 2026, my fiancée, Alexandra Teall, and I were riding together when our lives changed in an instant.

We were traveling north and slowing down when another vehicle merged into our lane, causing a collision that left both of us seriously injured. We are incredibly thankful to be alive because we know this accident could have been so much worse.

An ambulance rushed us to the hospital, where we both began receiving treatment for our injuries.

I suffered injuries to my left leg, left arm, and left side, along with numerous scrapes. Doctors have told me that I will need surgery to repair nerve damage in my left leg, and I know my recovery will be a long one. Alexandra also suffered painful injuries, including knee, hip, shin, and back pain, along with lacerations and road rash.

This accident couldn't have come at a worse time. We had both just started new jobs and were excited about this new chapter in our lives. Instead, we're now facing months of recovery and uncertainty.

Our greatest blessing is our nine-month-old son, Xander. He is the center of our world and the reason we're determined to stay strong through everything that lies ahead. Once we're discharged from the hospital, we'll be staying with my mom and stepdad while we recover and focus on getting back on our feet.

Asking for help isn't easy, but right now, we truly need it.

The funds raised will help with medical expenses and everyday living expenses while we focus on healing and caring for our family.
